When they brought their boats to the shore, they left everything and followed Him.
The Fishermen is a men’s apostolate that helps men to grow in faith and virtue, and to become the servant leaders within their families, Church and community that God created them to be. The Fishermen is a great way to meet men who share your faith and way of life.
Candidates live a 9-month formation program that includes:
- Studying and growing in authentic Catholic masculinity
- Consecration to Jesus through Mary
- Learning to pray the Liturgy of the Hours
- Hearing God speak to you through Lectio Divina
- Review of Sacraments and the Catechism of the Catholic Church
Upon completion of the formation period, Fishermen are licensed through the Apostolate to share what they have learned with others if they believe they are called to do so.
All Licensed Fishermen meet monthly for faith formation and fellowship.
The Fishermen is open to all Catholic men. There is no cost to become a Fishermen.
