Join Fr. Robert in an eight-week series on prayer!

This will be a great series on learning to become more aware of God’s presence in our lives by diving into the great Catholic tradition of prayer, primarily through prayer with the Sacred Scriptures.  These will be repeat lectures of ones given in January and February of 2023, working through the Oremus series presented by Ascension Press.

This series will address some fundamental exercises and dispositions of prayer.  We will discuss how to pray the steps of Lectio Divina, Relational Prayer, praying with our Spiritual Senses, Discernment, working with consolation and desolation in prayer, along with dealing with distractions in prayer.

Below are the lecture dates and topics.  All will be in the social hall at Sts. Anne and Joachim at 4:00pm unless otherwise noted.
