Parish Leadership Team

          I am excited to announce the start of a Parish Leadership Team here at Sts. Anne and Jaochim.  I have invited four parishioners to join me and assisting me in certain areas of leadership in our community.  Carrie Ward, Ted LeMier, David Shorma, and Molly Rodenbiker are all part of our new team.  They have been very active in our parish already, and I am grateful to their “yes” to this significant commitment to a volunteer team that will be meeting weekly.  Inviting others to lead with me has been an enriching and encouraging experience, as we will be blending various talents and experiences, sharing faith and inspiration, and empowering greater responses to mission and fruitfulness in the life of the Church.  Find below some more details about our new Parish Leadership Team.

• Promote core values of a healthy parish culture, namely unceasing prayer, active discipleship and healthy teamwork. 
• Help the pastor establish clear priorities and fulfill the mission entrusted to the parish.
• Assist the pastor in aligning staff, volunteers, councils, and parishioners around the direction and priorities of the parish.
• Being attentive to the needs of the parish - from day to day tactical work to big picture strategy.
• Work for the health and effectiveness of the entire parish, not simply personal areas of expertise or responsibility.
• Discern six to twelve month initiatives, areas of attention, and/or topics of focus with the Pastor that respond to and serve the current circumstances of the parish community.
