We are glad to welcome guest speakers Melissa and Mark Perez. \nCost per couple is $75. \nGuest Speakers: Mark and Melissa Perez \n \nMellissa and Mark will focus on categories of healthy communication tools and skills in marriage.  They will examine skills of active listening\, speaking heart to heart\, and daily communication tools.  Melissa and Mark will teach\, then model\, and give couples time with each other to practice a number of these tools and sills that foster deeper connection\, understanding\, and flourishing in marriage. \nSchedule: \nFriday April 4: 7:00pm-9:00pm \nSaturday April 5: 8:30am-12:30pm \nSunday April 6: 8:30am-10:30am \nSpeaker Bio: \nMark and Melissa Perez were once High School sweethearts who rekindled their love for one another at their 10-year High School reunion. Quickly realizing the need for healthy communication within their marriage\, Mark and Melissa sought the help of Live the Life\, a non-profit that teaches healthy conflict resolution skills. They have shared their gained knowledge as mentor coaches for engaged and married couples using this amazing curriculum for the past 20 years. Mark has had an exemplary career in law enforcement for 30 years\, while Melissa is currently an event coordinator and speaker for the John Paul II Healing Center. They have been married for 24 years and live in Tallahassee\, Florida along with their two young adult children. \nDetailed Description: \nMost couples do not know “how” to be married. Adventures in Marriage helps couples discover better ways to meet one another’s needs\, communicate\, resolve conflicts\, express anger\, avoid dirty fighting\, and understand how their personality styles impact relationships for better or worse. Fun\, practical\, and easy to learn\, Adventures in Marriage is appropriate for couples at any age or stage. The program is designed to reach couples across the spectrum – from happy and highly motivated to struggling and highly stressed. \nAdventures in Marriage combines Christian principles with the latest research to provide specific\, practical\, attainable skills for a successful marriage.
